Mike Jackson

CEO & President

Michael A. Jackson (Mike) is CEO and President of Motus One. An innovator and marketing communications professional with a passion of building brands for visionary entrepreneurs and global fortune 500 companies. Mike also served as General Motors Corporation, North America Vice President of Marketing and Advertising. His responsibilities included directing the marketing, advertising and media efforts for eight GM vehicle divisions. 

Prior to joining GM, Mike held key sales, marketing, and operational leadership assignments spanning more than 20 years, with Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, and Coors Brewing Company. Mike received a master’s degree from the Annenberg School of Communications at The University of Southern California. Mike also serves as a CNBC contributor for automotive, advertising, marketing, and media topics. 



Julie Anne Hamp


In Julie’s 35-year career in communications, she has strengthened top global brands while cultivating talent and key relationships across North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America. Her focus is on corporate reputation management, with extensive experience at the head of large global and regional teams in media relations; brand building and consumer engagement; executive communications; consumer relations; global talent development; organizational design; social media; sustainability communications; and crisis communications and issues management. As the chief communications officer and a managing officer for Toyota Motor Corporation, Julie led Toyota’s global communications efforts. 

Prior to joining Toyota, Julie was chief communications officer and senior vice president, communications and consumer relations for PepsiCo. Her prior positions within GM include general director of communications for Latin America, Africa and the Middle East; general director for sales, service and marketing communications in North America; and vice president of communications for the Saturn brand. Julie is an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America and a member of the Arthur W. Page Society.



Ted Wallace

VP of Operations

Ted Wallace, Vice President of Operations and a Washington DC metro resident, began his career in Automotive Services in 1992, serving as an account manager for premium marques including Jaguar, Land Rover, Bentley, Porsche, and Volvo.  

Familiar with the missions of many brands and segments, Ted recently managed the National Press Fleet for Audi of America for nearly five years across 15 markets while also supporting marketing functions and other Volkswagen Group brands.  In these roles he managed fleet operations and logistics nationally and regionally, managing budget, quality, and deployment of over 700 Press fleet vehicles across 15 national regions in support of dozens of product activations.

Passionate about leveraging technology to support both mission and method, Ted brings years of experience with process design and development and management of complex operations. Prior to working with Motus One, Ted developed and ran field operations for a national e-learning program for the University of Southern California and launched the first Canadian office of The Princeton Review, later designing and running online editorial operations and producing content for publishers like McGraw-Hill. A seasoned leader of remote teams, Ted studied Political Science at Kean University and is eager to lend his nearly 30 years of professional experience to bring operational excellence to new and current clients and opportunities in the Automotive industry.



Nancie Stoddard

VP of Finance

A multifaceted financial executive, Nancie’s expertise comes from a history of strategic, functional, and operational experience with rapidly growing technology companies. As well, Nancie has deep experience in fleet management, including guiding a team responsible for managing a fleet of 1,200 vehicles. 

Having graduated with degrees from both The University of Michigan and Michigan State University, Nancie is a unifier. A champion of customer satisfaction, business innovation and continuous improvement, Nancie is always creating added value through intellectual prowess, consistency, quality results and dedication. Nancie serves as an Officer of Financial Executives International, Detroit Chapter and is Founder of The Accounting and Finance Women’s Alliance, Detroit-West.
